Tuning Into Kids® Program Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to your purchase of and participation in the Tuning Into Kids® program delivered by Meg Lindsay.
By registering for this program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. The Program
Tuning Into Kids® is an evidence-based parenting program that supports parents and caregivers to better understand emotions, strengthen relationships with their children, and develop practical emotion coaching skills.
The program is delivered live online via Zoom over six weekly group sessions.
Your registration includes:
Attendance at eight live online sessions
A participant workbook and supporting resources
Program-related emails and updates
Access to a supportive online learning environment for the duration of the program.
2. Eligibility
This program is intended for parents and caregivers aged 18 years or over.
By registering, you confirm that the information you provide during registration and the participant intake process is accurate and complete.
3. Payment
Full payment is required to secure your place unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Places are limited and your registration is confirmed once payment has been successfully received.
4. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or any other applicable law.
If the services provided fail to meet the consumer guarantees under the ACL, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy as required by law.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Change of Mind
Places in this live online program are limited to nine participants. Once your registration has been confirmed, a place is reserved specifically for you.
If you cancel your registration 14 or more days before the program commences, you may request a full refund.
If you cancel less than 14 days before the program commences, refunds are generally not available because your place has been reserved and may not be able to be filled.
Once the Program Has Started
Once the first session has commenced, refunds or partial refunds are not available for missed sessions, non-attendance or withdrawal from the program.
If I Need to Cancel
If I need to cancel the program or am unable to deliver the program as described, you will be offered either:
a full refund; or
a transfer to a future program, where appropriate.
Australian Consumer Law
This cancellation and refund policy applies in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
6. Transfers
If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from attending, you may contact me before the program begins to request a transfer to a future intake.
Transfer requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to availability. Approval of a transfer is at my discretion and is not guaranteed.
7. Attendance
Each session builds on the previous one, so attending all sessions is recommended to gain the greatest benefit from the program.
As this is a live group program, missed sessions cannot be refunded or repeated individually.
8. Online Participation
The program is delivered online using Google Meet.
Participants are responsible for ensuring they have:
a reliable internet connection
access to Google Meet
a suitable computer, tablet or mobile device
a quiet space where they can participate comfortably.
I am not responsible for technical difficulties outside my reasonable control.
9. Confidentiality
Creating a safe, respectful and supportive environment is important to the success of this program.
Participants agree to respect the privacy of all group members and to keep personal information and experiences shared during sessions confidential.
While I ask all participants to maintain confidentiality, I cannot guarantee that other participants will do so.
10. Recording
Live sessions are not recorded.
Participants must not record, photograph, screenshot, reproduce or distribute any part of the program without written permission.
11. Intellectual Property
All program materials, workbooks, slides, handouts, resources and content remain the intellectual property of Tuning Into Kids®, and Meg Lindsay where applicable.
These materials are provided for your personal use only and must not be copied, reproduced, shared, distributed or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
12. Nature of the Program
Tuning Into Kids® is an educational parenting program.
It is not counselling, psychotherapy, medical treatment, legal advice or crisis support.
Participation in this program does not establish a therapeutic, counselling or healthcare relationship.
If you or your child requires professional mental health or medical support, please seek assistance from an appropriately qualified professional.
13. Privacy
The information you provide during registration and the participant intake process is collected for the purpose of:
administering the program
communicating with you about your registration
providing program-related support
meeting any applicable program administration requirements.
Your personal information will be handled in accordance with my Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to the Program
In the unlikely event that I need to make changes to the program schedule due to illness or unforeseen circumstances; I will provide as much notice as reasonably possible.
Where appropriate, replacement session dates or alternative arrangements will be offered.
